CITY LEAGUE

The UK's first ever 3x3 league. Create by hoopers for hoopers and endorsed by FIBA 3x3 and the British Basketball Federation.​ Register interest for Season 2 now.
LEAGUE FORMAT
Teams compete in tournaments (aka ‘Stops’) on Thursday evenings between 7-10pm

You can plays as a 'Full League' Team (competing every Stop) or a 'Challenge' Team that enters a single Stop. New teams each week make Stops unique and dynamic!

If you win a Stop you automatically qualify for the Finals. Or you need to rack up enough City League Points (CLP*) to reach the Finals.

Season 1 Finals Recap - Winners "Net Ninjas"
An intense Finals with an even mix of Full League and Challenge Teams. It came down to the wire, a final buzzer-beating 2 to win the game and Season 1.

All match-ups are posted on the socials and can be found on the FIBA 3x3 website too. After a Stop, the scores and League Table are updated on @rise3x3 socials for you to share.

COST

BASICS OF TEAM REGISTRATION

It costs just £27.00/player per Stop for Full League Teams and £30.00/player for Challenge Teams

Full League Teams play every Stop leading to the finals, Challenge Teams can enter a single Stop only

Full League Teams have a roster of 5 players (all receive jerseys) but can add a 6th man (see FAQs)

Challenge Teams have a roster of 4 players only
-
Teams play a minimum of 2-4 games per Stop depending on how far they go in the Stop

A team that wins a Stop automatically makes the Finals (Week 6)

What is the RISE 3x3 City League?It's the UK's first ever 3x3 basketball league run by RISE 3x3. Our goal is to create opportunities for players to compete, earn FIBA 3x3 points and have fun playing 3x3.

How many weeks is the League?The League runs from April to May over a period of 5 'Stops' including the Finals.

What are FIBA 3x3 points?The League is FIAB 3x3 endorsed, which means all players earn FIBA 3x3 points. These points increase your official national ranking in 3x3 and around the globe!

How do City League Points work?City League Points are awarded to teams based on how well they do in a Stop. If a team accumulates enough points by the end of the league, they will qualify for the Finals. The points model has been created by RISE 3x3 and follows the below for each Stop: Win a game: 1 point Semi-finals appearance: 2 points Finals appearance: 3 points Win a Stop: 4 points

Can I add an extra player to my team?Only Full League teams can add a player to their roster. Full League teams automatically have a roster of 5 players but they can add a 6th player for an additional fee. Please notify us if you wish to add a team member.
