What’s Happened Recently on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour

The 2025 FIBA 3x3 World Tour has been the best showcase of elite 3x3 competition.

Along with that, we've seen some unusual winners and shocking upsets as teams have battled through the season to the the Manama World Tour Final, coming-up a the end of November.

Ub (SRB) have once again led the charge - they have dominated the circuit with six titles and sit comfortably atop the rankings with 965 points.

The Serbian juggernaut, powered by Strahinja Stojacic, aka "Dr Strange", continues to set the benchmark, though recent semifinal exits have hinted that the gap between the champions and the contenders is narrowing.

Amsterdam Rabobank (NED) remain the model of consistency, qualifying for the Finals with 690 points despite not yet claiming a title. The team has stayed strong throughout the World Tour, especially with the skilful, athletic showman Worthy De Jong.

Meanwhile, Miami (USA) have proven their credentials with second place in the most recent World Tour stops. They are without doubt, a big threat for the Finals championship.

The rise of Chongming (CHN) has been one of the defining stories of the season. With several semifinal appearances, the Chinese squad have proven they belong among the world’s elite. Led by former Olympian gold medalists Karlis Lasmanis and Nauris Miezis, Chongming’s high-tempo scoring ability make them one of the most dangerous sides heading into the Finals.

Big Drama and Even Bigger Upsets

There has been no shortage of drama during the World Tour. London (USA) outperformed everyone in Deqing, surprising a very talented Liman team in the finals.

Shortly after, Lugano (SUI) shocked the field in Macau, claiming their first-ever World Tour title behind MVP Adris De León’s spectacular performance.

Only a week later, Skyliners (GER) beat Miami in Abu Dhabi, in what can only be described as one of the most intense battles yet!

Predictions: Who Is Lifting The Trophy In Manama?

The countdown is on. The FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final 2025 lands in Manama, Bahrain, on November 21–22, featuring 14 of the world’s best teams, including three that will fight their way in through the qualifying draw.

This year’s field is arguably the deepest in recent memory.

Amsterdam has demonstrated the form and focus to challenge for the title - and let's not forget their epic World Tour Finals win last year - but everything points to a familiar favourite.

Ub enter as the No. 1 seed for a reason. They set the benchmark with their six titles and it's fair to say that the Serbian squad are positioned to complete another championship run.Whether it's big man Nerandžić crashing the boards or the magic of Stojacic, it's difficult to see if Ub can be stopped in Manama.

The best part though?

If there's one thing we can 100% predict, it's that the Finals will be full of epic battles and some incredible buzzer-beater-type moments.
